I'm Octavian, a Senior Product Designer with over a decade of experience in SaaS and B2B/B2C products. I'm passionate about design systems, data visualisation, interaction design, GenAI integrations, and solving user needs.
I'm a product designer with a 60% visual/UI and 40% UX split. Over the years I've designed and delivered digital experiences and services from startups to big corporates that pivot the user experience and visual design.
Can you work at pace in agile sprint cycles and under pressure?
Morning stand-ups, sprint reviews. A backlog longer than your weekly shopping? We've all been there. I love the hustle.
Are you familiar working within established design systems and brand guidelines?
Freedom is great! But with all large scale projects consistency is key. I've worked within the constraints of a design system and also built design systems from scratch.
Are you comfortable with the responsibility that comes with leading a project?
I take responsibility for delivering timely and quality results with focus on user experience and design aesthetics. With plenty of experience that makes me confident to take the lead and work end to end from workshopping through to prototyping and delivery, working closely with all the stakeholders along the way.
Do you know how to code?
While I'm not a developer I know how the web works. I've worked with the engineering and QA teams, built websites using tools like Webflow making me comfortable talking to developers on a technical level.
